As we commonly know from experiencing love and other strong emotions, our heart and brain are intertwined. Pain memory, pain behaviors, conditioned responses, and misunderstandings between the brain and body can provoke and perpetuate unwanted pain. Proper training resets a healthy mechanism and strongly diminishes your chronic pain.
Chronic pain is a common and debilitating ailment that affects over 80 million Americans each year at an estimated cost of estimated $61.2 billion per year in health expenditures and lost productivity (Stewart et al. 2003).
Chronic pain makes us miserable while costing our society over $500 billion in health care and lost work. It involves about 25% of the cost of health care, and almost 5% of the total U.S. gross domestic product. (2015)
